- A landmark 2012 decision by the Tax Court of Canada to vacate a $546,747 tax penalty levied by the Canada Revenue Agency against Ottawa lawyer Julie Guindon has been overturned by the Federal Court of Appeal. - On April 30 2012, the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce named Adam Aptowitzer to their list of Top 40 Under 40 for 2012.
- Arthur Drache was awarded the Queen’s Jubilee medal marking the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s ascension to the throne on April 25 at a ceremony hosted by the Canadian Museums Association. He was nominated by the CMA for his long-term involvement with the organization and in particular his role as first (and only) chair of the Museums Association of Canada Foundation.
